Our club team at Club Alamanda recently hosted a fully booked 2-hour Child Water Safety Program, in partnership with Life Saving Victoria, bringing our young residents together for practical, life-saving education during the busy summer season.
Across the session, children learned how to identify common water hazards, interpret key pool and beach safety signage, correctly use life jackets, practise safe rescue techniques using ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ฌ, ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ค๐ฉ, ๐๐ฉ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ธ, apply simple survival positions, and build emergency response awareness, including CPR fundamentals and AED use.
Programs like this go beyond technique. They build confidence. They encourage calm thinking in uncertain moments. And they equip our young members with skills that support not only their own safety, but the safety of those around them.
Weโre proud to create space for initiatives like this that bring families together, strengthen awareness, and contribute to a culture of education and connection within the community.
A fantastic turnout, engaged young participants, and practical skills that truly matter - now thatโs community activation with real impact.
We see every day how regular classes, programs, events, and shared experiences help turn resident clubs into places with life, rhythm and a heartbeat.
From the perspective of our club teams, this captures the heart of our work โ creating the conditions for connection, not just facilities.

Our incredible QCMS Club Teams came together at Club Rathdowne this week for our monthly "Same Page" catch-up where we connect, collaborate, and keep our management framework front and centre across every club.
The day covered plenty of ground from Risk Assessment training and group activities to a short but mighty Leadership, Management and Accountability segment, all reinforcing the strong foundations that keep our clubs running smoothly.
We also celebrated a few well-deserved wins with our Quarterly Team Awards and vouchers, recognising those who continually go above and beyond.
And to top it off, we got to tour two other clubs (and put our team-bonding patience to the test on a long bus ride through Melbourneโs scenic traffic!).
Traffic aside โ great teamwork, great energy, and another reminder that strong leadership and staying aligned is what make every experience at our clubs exceptional.

This recent school holiday, amongst the many fun and exciting activities our club teams hosted across the resident clubs, one that really stood out for our little members was the Pet Rock Garden Workshop.
It reminded us how much joy and creativity a simple rock can hold.
It was a celebration of connection, as children painted side by side, chatting and forming new friendships. And with colours, brushes, and bright ideas shared freely (often accompanied by giggles!), the club space became a space for communication.
Every brushstroke reflected education, showing that learning happens just as much through play and imagination as it does in the classroom. Behind the scenes, kudos to our club teams for their focus and commitment in ensuring the sessions were not only fun but meaningful and safe for families.
And at the heart of it all - transforming everyday rocks into little works of art, and seeing the pride and joy on young faces, is well, simply awesome!
Best of all, these colourful new creations have now taken up residence in the garden areas around our clubs, proudly displayed for everyone to enjoy.
Itโs moments like these that bring our communities to life and reflect the values we live by at Quantum.

The Quantum CM Solution teamโs latest Same Page Meeting took a slight detourโliterally! We swapped the boardroom to support a local business at the Phoenix Hotel courtyard, where a relaxed vibe sparked some genuinely valuable discussions.
Did we stick to our usual agenda? Not exactly! But sometimes, breaking the routine leads to the best outcomes!
Instead of our standard club updates, we zoomed in on key QCMS Business Plan projects, with some great conversations guiding next stepsโespecially around Q-Portal and IT improvements.
