You cannot pour from an empty cup, and you certainly cannot run a successful business on two hours of sleep and cold coffee.
We see so many business owners wearing their burnout like a badge of honour. But if you break down, your business breaks down with you. You need a Wellbeing Mindset just to survive the chaos.
Ant is getting incredibly real about this in part two of his upcoming "Built For Business" e-book series. He is putting together highly practical advice on how to look after your head and your health. The book covers setting actual boundaries with clients, making time to switch off, and preventing the kind of exhaustion that makes you want to quit.
Ant is busy writing this one right now, so keep an eye on our page for updates.

Staring at a blank screen trying to figure out what on earth to post today? We have all been there.
Trying to run a business and act like a social media influencer at the same time is absolutely exhausting. It usually ends with you posting nothing at all.
Here are three super easy ways to make content creation way less of a headache.
1️⃣ Do it all at once. Stop trying to come up with genius ideas every morning. Sit down with a coffee once a month and map out your posts in one go. Get it done and dust your hands of it.
2️⃣ Reuse your best stuff. Did you write a great email to your customers? Turn it into a post. Got a common question you answer all day? Record a quick video on your phone. Work smarter, not harder.
3️⃣ Just be yourself. People do not want to read a boring corporate brochure. Show your face, talk about the ups and downs of business, and keep it real.

Running a small business right now comes with a huge amount of pressure. Between managing cash flow, looking after your team, and keeping clients happy, it is completely normal to feel overwhelmed.
But your business simply cannot thrive if you are constantly running on empty.
Taking care of your mental health does not mean you have to book a two week holiday or meditate for hours. It is about small, highly practical habits you can actually fit into a chaotic day.
𝗧𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝘁. Step completely away from your desk and your phone, walk outside, and just breathe for a few minutes. Even better if you can find some sun. The business will survive without you for five minutes.
𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗯𝗼𝘅. Turn off the constant notifications. Check your emails in dedicated blocks rather than reacting to every single ping. You will instantly feel more in control.
𝗘𝗺𝗽𝘁𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱. Before you leave the office or close your laptop, do a complete brain dump. Write down tomorrow's tasks on a piece of paper so you do not carry that stress in your head.
You are the absolute most valuable asset your business has. Protect your mental health and your energy.

This is an important message for everyone today. Please take a moment to read to the end.
Often, it is the absolute smallest acts of kindness that make the biggest difference in our community. What you see as a tiny gesture could be the very thing that changes someone's entire life.
Consider this story.
A man was asked to paint a boat bright red. While painting, he noticed a small hole in the hull and repaired it. He got paid for the paint job and went home.
The next day, the boat owner handed him a cheque for a much higher amount.
The painter was confused. "You already paid me for painting the boat."
The owner shook his head. "This is not for the paint. It is for repairing the hole. I forgot to tell you about it, and my kids took the boat out for a fishing trip while I was not home. I was absolutely desperate when I came home to find the boat gone. Imagine my joy when they returned safely. You saved their lives! I do not have enough money to pay for your 'small' good deed."
We must always remember that, just like the ripples in our logo, a single act of kindness can have a massive impact. Look out for each other this week. You never know whose boat you are fixing.
