We always like to head down to one of the best facilities in WA to skid. With the ANDRA, scrutineering and prize money being fixed up and everyone working together to get this sorted we were excited to get down there for the new season and have a run.

I put down a well-executed qualifying skid and was marked down for a wall hit that I did not hit (I come closer to the wall in the finals twice)

In finals I drove the absolute wheels off it, we came away and awarded the win. As we were 2nd car out, I got to watch all the other competitors participate and without a doubt I believe we were in the top 2. As a judged sport there are possibilities for mistakes and I believe they haven’t got the top 3 correct.

I feel for my fellow competitors as I have been in this situation in the past. I hope they can review and sort it out.

Lets hope everyone can learn from the mistakes and make burnouts great again.
