✨ International Women’s Day – Community, Connection & Empowerment ✨

Over the past few weeks, Officiency had the opportunity to attend and contribute to several International Women’s Day events across our local business communities.

Each event brought together inspiring women in business and leadership, with a shared focus on connection, collaboration, and supporting progress.

At the City of Glen Eira event, Hana was honoured to be part of a panel discussion alongside other local business leaders, sharing insights on business, the importance of thinking beyond the day-to-day, and the value of financial literacy for women.

At the Fresh Networking breakfast, the theme “Give to Gain” highlighted how sharing knowledge, support, and opportunities strengthens both individuals and the wider community.

And at the Monash Women’s Business Network lunch, we heard from keynote speaker Jo Stanley, who shared reflections on leadership and creating opportunities for women, as well as her work supporting Fitted for Work.

Across all events, one message stood out:
strong communities create stronger businesses.

At Officiency, we believe that financial clarity and confidence play a key role in that, empowering business owners to make informed decisions and move forward with purpose.

We’re proud to be part of such supportive local communities and to contribute to conversations that empower women in business.

🌟 Mid-Quarter Check-In: How Are Your Books Looking? 🌟

We’re already through the first quarter of the new financial year.
This is the perfect moment to pause and check in with your business finances:

✅ Are your accounts reconciled?
✅ Have you reviewed payroll and super since July’s changes?
✅ Are receipts and expenses up to date?
✅ Is your BAS on track for the first quarter?

Getting into good habits now means less stress later especially when EOFY comes quicker than we think.

If you’re feeling behind, don’t wait until deadlines creep up. A little bit of support now saves a lot of stress later.

Reach out anytime if you’d like help staying on top of things this quarter.

💛 R U OK Day

Running a business can be exciting and rewarding, but it can also be overwhelming, isolating, and stressful at times. We often focus so much on taking care of our clients, staff, and families that we forget the most important piece of the puzzle: ourselves.

Today, on R U OK? Day, we’re reminded that checking in — with ourselves and with others — truly matters.
💛 Take a pause
💛 Prioritise your wellbeing
💛 Reach out if things feel heavy
💛️ Remember you don’t have to do it all alone

Just like keeping your books in order helps your business run smoothly, taking care of your mental health helps you thrive.

So today, ask someone you care about: R U OK? And if you need support yourself, reaching out is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Let’s look after each other — in business and in life.
