Our first USA media interview went live today and it set my heart on fire!

Being in a position to empower leaders to find their purpose and add value to the lives of others gives me great joy.

We are 5 weeks away from the global launch of my first book Self Belief is Your Superpower and I could not be more excited to lean into the power of the global movement we are creating for women to rise.

Final interview of the year and it was one that I had on my manifestation list and yes, it came thorugh the power of my commitment to 3 cofee dates a week and the power of connection (thank you Lielette Calleja Kate Keane).

I've always admired Mark Bouris AM - he is an innovator, a disrupter you want to get to know and as an entrepreuer I find his social media feed a source of inspiration.

His podcast is consistently ranked #1 on apple and spotify in Australia and acts as a platform to inspire and empower others in business to think differently, to translate opportunites into possibilties by leaning into the expertise and power of others.

We spoke about how to recession proof your career for 2023.

My top tips?

1) Show value and lean into the power of people by committing to 3 coffee dates a week as is gives you the platform to share your story and hear someone else's - you never know where that conversation may lead. My formula is this. - one with some one you know, one with someone you want to partner with and one with someone outside of your comfort zone. You can learn more here https://lnkd.in/geZemzF

2) Get a mentor or join a community with like-minded people. Ensure your message is clear and always remember when you meet people business is about a mutual exchange of energy - life is NOT a one way street.

3) Show up and be visible - you will not be on people's radar if you play small. See what Captain Google has to say about you and gte to work cleaning up your LinkedIn profile so that it is a refelection of your talents but always shows how you overcame challanges. People want to see the grit in your story, not the polished airbrushed version.

4) Understand that rejection is projection in a new and exciting direction. Not everything is going to go your way - if you are made redundant look at your network as this is the most powerful resource you can tap into to help you seek a new role OR start your own business. Challanges are what can make or break us.
