Brisbane City Council seeks input on managing future growth It has been 12 years since the council turned to residents to help shape Brisbane's future. It will now ask residents for help again.

At the rate governments have been going we will have nothing left. Put pressure on Local and State Governments to stop slicing and dicing our special places. A packed house at the planning & development community meeting we held on 23 November. People are tired of local and state government's putting community interests last.
Guest presenters Phil Heywood, Karen Robinson and Peter Marquis-Kyle were there to help us understand the role of State and Local Government when it comes to decisions.

Spring Hill is definitely telling big developers to back off. Groups across Brisbane are calling for a ban on developer donations to political parties and for council and state government to start listening to the people. Come along to our community meeting tomorrow night - Monday 23 November. We'll have planning, community action, and heritage experts to provide some information, and you'll have an opportunity to share your thoughts on these issues.
