DIJANA JOVANOVIC / RMIT UNIVERSITY
Asanoha Lamp
Dijana Jovanovic is an Industrial Design student at RMIT University with a background in photography, graphic design, and illustration. Her work explores the relationship between colour, pattern, and light through digital fabrication. She enjoys creating functional objects that bring life and character to a space.
Asanoha Lamp reinterprets traditional Kumiko patterns through Archimedean geometry, using interlocking forms to shape light. Fully 3D printed in PLA and designed for flat-pack assembly, it offers a modular, accessible lighting solution with a strong visual presence.

Australia's Next Top Designers Winner - Highly Commended with sustainability element.
LUC PUCHERT / UNIVERSITY OF CANBERRA
YOKE Collection
Luc Puchert is an industrial designer undertaking Honours at the University of Canberra. His work is shaped by close observation of everyday life and a strong focus on making. Through hands-on prototyping and material exploration, he designs considered, well-resolved objects that balance clarity of form with practical, long-term use.
Yoke rethinks the lounge chair as a modular system rather than a fixed object. A lightweight steel frame supports removable upholstered elements, allowing repair, replacement, and long-term use. Developed through a fabrication-led process, the collection expands into a footrest and side table, forming a durable, cohesive domestic suite.

Pat Flanagan is a steel sculptor based in Brunswick West. With a background in fabrication and over a decade as a Fitter and Turner, Pat brings technical precision to his creative practice. Working from his local workshop, he creates sculptural pieces that bring visions to life, reflecting his love for transforming spaces into immersive experiences.
Spun Through My Mind, invites direct interaction, encouraging the viewer to sit beside it and set it in motion. As the sphere rotates around the light bulb, shifting shadows stretch across the room, transforming the space into an immersive and hypnotic environment, I find it presents me with a sense of calm.
