DANNY'S TIPS // "Boxer Step & Shuffle"
These drills teach you how to maintain your boxing stance and balance whilst moving, ensuring strong technique as you punch.
Footwork is an essential aspect of boxing. In a fight, good footwork allows you to land hard punches on your opponent and keeps you away from your opponent’s attacks.
The Box Step starts in your boxing stance, move forward, backward and side-to-side, keeping your gaze forward and your hands in guard. Once you've mastered the step, it's time to add punches.
The Boxer Shuffle turns your Box Step into a dynamic movement, where your feet travel in a skip rather than a step. This drill helps to improve your agility with the focus on maintaining a smooth rhythm and flow in your footwork.
