The wallpaper came off… and 1973 said hello.
We were stripping back a wall in Mt Nasura today when this little time capsule appeared underneath. Next step is patching, sanding, and getting the surface ready before any paint goes near it.
Not every renovation surprise is a bad one.

I've been a bit slack on the updates, so here's a big one.
We have been hard at work although we don't seem to be getting much done.
Asbestos is now removed, thanks to Rapid Asbestos Removals for giving us a safe Asbestos free worksite.

The kitchen wall didn’t survive the first week in Mt Nasura.
It’s out, the space is open, and the next step is locking in the structure to carry it properly.
Messy stage, but progress is moving quickly.
Funny how removing one wall can change the entire feel of a home — more light, better flow, and a layout people actually want now.
