Applications are now open for the Origin Digital Indigenous Scholarship at Curtin University.
The $10,000 scholarship supports an Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander student studying a Bachelor’s degree with a focus on digital solutions. In addition to financial support, the recipient may also be offered paid vacation work with Origin Digital, helping build industry experience alongside their studies.
Applications are open for Semester 1, 2026 via Curtin University.

Indigenous rugby league All-Star Josh Curran is heading west, signing with the Perth Bears for their inaugural NRL season in 2027.
The Darug man becomes the most experienced signing for the new WA club, bringing leadership, versatility and a strong commitment to community as the Bears prepare for their first season.

The updates include community reports of smoke impacts and disruption to local habitat.

Victoria’s Premier has proposed tougher penalties for young offenders, including the possibility of moving more serious cases from the Children’s Court to adult courts.
