One thing I’m always focused on is quality construction.
Every project we build is designed to not only look exceptional on completion, but to stand the test of time. When our clients are investing significant money into their outdoor living space, they deserve a result that’s properly!

On this Weathertex feature wall, we’ve gone beyond the standard installation methods by custom-manufacturing a dressed pine capping detail to finish the top of the cladding. We’ve carefully rebated a groove into the capping to house the Weathertex sheets, creating a clean, architectural finish while also allowing for the natural expansion and contraction of the material.

More importantly, this capping detail helps prevent water from entering and causing moisture ingress into the top of the sheets, protecting the wall from unnecessary moisture exposure and significantly increasing its lifespan.

It’s these small details that often go unnoticed, but they’re the difference between a job that looks good today and a job that still looks good years from now.

No two decks are ever the same and this one may never be repeated.

This project came with a serious challenge: building out over the wetlands with a cantilevered deck section to maximise usable space, while respecting the conditions below.

Using oversized beams and joists, we created a strong, clean overhanging structure designed for both impact and longevity. Every timber below was coated in black waterproofing protection, adding another layer of defence for winter storms, high tides, and harsh exposure.
