Here’s the simple, feel-good journey from nature ➜ your wardrobe 🌿🩳
1️⃣ It starts with beech trees
Modal comes from renewable beechwood pulp — yep, trees! These trees grow naturally with little need for irrigation, making them an eco-conscious choice from the start.
2️⃣ Wood is turned into pulp
The harvested wood is chipped and broken down into a cellulose-rich pulp. Think of it as the natural “base ingredient” of the fabric.
3️⃣ The pulp becomes fibres
Through a closed-loop process (meaning the water + chemicals are recycled), the pulp is dissolved and pushed through tiny spinneret holes to form long, silky fibres. 🌬️✨
4️⃣ Those fibres become yarn
Once the fibres are stretched, washed, and dried, they’re spun into soft, durable yarn — the kind that gives modal its signature smooth feel and incredible breathability.
5️⃣ The yarn becomes fabric
