HOW TO STAY CALM WHEN ALL AROUND YOU IS FALLING APART:

Generally, adults grow bitter with age. I used to wonder why, but now I know. They are deteriorating with time (physical and physiologically) And if that’s not enough, the end is already decreed and it’s terminal.

But my study of stoicism requires me to guard against this morbid mode of existence. To see the grey hair of my years pass as a decorative feather 🪶 of life. An indication that I’m still here to fight another day.

To continue to acquire quality knowledge based on values that turns intellect into wisdom that allows you to see and perceive clearly. With wisdom, age become a softly mellow mode of existence and it shines through in your face, what modern women refer to as a “glow”.

You become ever green, like a shade giving tree in thirsty land. It doesn’t matter if Trump or Obama is the leader, that the world and all things around you are falling apart, your tranquil soul is still. Christ said it best, “BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM THE LORD.”
