Kardy Connect is Kardinya's local town team. As a non-profit, volunteer-run community group. We welcome new people and ideas, as well as collaborations with local businesses and community groups. Why does this group exist? Because great places have a palpable sense of community. Local people know and help their neighbours. They contribute and feel empowered to effect change. Make it fun and easy f

Yesterday we had the pleasure of meeting the Minister for Road Safety Reece Whitby MLA who congratulated and recognised the community organisations and local governments who are working together to make local streets safer, shared and slower so our neighbourhoods are less car dominated and more people friendly.

In 2026, Kardy Connect will be collaborating with Kardinya Primary School to deliver a street calming project on Ochiltree Way making it safer for our kids to walk and ride to school thanks to funding from Streets Alive.

We also had the pleasure of meeting some other funding recipients including Vic Park Collective and admired some of the projects they’ve delivered and we’re feeling super inspired!

It’s incredible to see what we can achieve when local people and organisations come together to create positive change.

Thanks to Mrs Melanie Clark, Principal of KPS for joining us. We look forward to sharing more in 2026! 💚✨
