Two Big Birthday celebrations over this weekend. One of Magic's core artist's Frank Sinatra was born FRANCIS ALBERT SINATRA on 12 December 1915 in Hoboken, New Jersey. The Chairman of the Board, The Voice, the Sultan of Swoon, Ol’ Blue Eyes was the man TIME magazine designated as the most influential singer of the 20th century. He died May 14, 1998... And today 13 December we celebrate the 100th Birthday of Actor DICK VAN D**E. Born in West Plains, Missouri in 1925, Dick was a disc jockey in the Air Force during World War II. He appeared on Broadway in BYE BYE BIRDIE from 1960-61, a role which won him a Tony Award and which he repeated in the 1963 film version. His television series, THE DICK VAN D**E SHOW, which ran from 1961-66, was one of the most popular in the history of the medium. He now stars on the intermittent TV series DIAGNOSIS: MURDER. Van Dyke’s film career includes MARY POPPINS; CHITTY, CHITTY, BANG, BANG; and DICK TRACY. In his famous role as Bert, the chimney sweep, Dick convinced us that “A sweep is as lucky as lucky can be” in the Academy Award-winning song... Chim Chim Cher-ee
