On 8 July, we began the opening of our expanded mental health service at Fremantle Hospital, rolling out in stages over the coming months.
While some services started last week, including the Mental Health Neurostimulation Suite for outpatients and existing patients, the 24/7 Crisis Centre will open in late August 🏥

What a morning at Fiona Stanley Hospital 🖤💛❤️
To celebrate NAIDOC Week, staff and community members came together for an opening ceremony featuring a flag raising, a Welcome to Country by Denice Kickett, a smoking ceremony led by Marian Davis and Lynley Wilkes, traditional dances by Gnangangarra Middar (Armadale dancers), and an acoustic performance by Lionel O’Brien!
Thanks to everyone who made this event so special, and for sharing what this year’s theme, 50 Years of Deadly, truly means.
