the decision to complement the contracting arm of Castleprime with Oakwood, a full design and construct service. This led to our first project, built on a small lot for clients in Leederville using polished concrete, exposed steel and recycled brick. These features gave the property an industrial-type feel, yet included all the comforts of modern day living including underfloor heating, data points to all rooms and full height tiling to bathrooms. The building was completed in early 2016 and, having recently sold for an amount that was substantially over the median house price for Leederville, confirmed the demand for this type of property and also helped to establish Leederville as one of the few growth areas in the current Perth property market. We have recently moved our offices to a vibrant central location on the cusp of Northbridge and now occupy premises in a converted warehouse. This gives us a great space to conceptualise and design the next generation of homes that will suit inner city living and meet the requirements of today’s modern and busy lifestyle.
