~The Obligatory Introductory Self Portrait~
My name is Mike, I actually started this page 6 years ago and periodically posted some my film shots but it hasn’t had anything new on it since 2018.
I started shooting film after being gifted my fathers Pentax ME, and during the height of my Analogue Adventure I had collected a mixed range of cameras and formats.
Being predominantly a digital shooter, I loved the slowed down approach of shooting film, with the dreaded Covid slowing the world down I have had a recognition of my interest in shooting film again.
So this year I am setting myself the challenge of shooting a roll to film each month, initially I was only going to do this challenge with my Leica M6, but I have now decided to change it up each month.
While I shoot those, I will be loading shots that I’ve taken in the past & get the 10+ rolls of film that still need to be developed developed and shared with you all. Sorry for the long post, if you’ve gotten to this point I thank you and look forward to seeing what 2022 has to offer.

Unfortunately this is the 2nd year in a row that we cannot gather together to celebrate those that have, and still are, fighting for us to be able to live the lives that we do. Hears hoping the world has returned to some semblance of normality next year so we can enjoy the Dawn services and parades again.

~They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.~

Another Christmas has come and gone in the blink of an eye, as for everyone this year has been filled with challenges & plenty of ups and downs.

But for myself personally, in the grand scheme of things, this has been one of the best years of my life and this little cherub is the highlight of this year. I have always wanted to be a dad, but never expected to have loved it as much as I have.

I hope that 2021 makes way for bigger and brighter things for us all, I may even start posting more photos again. 😂
