to a Workhorse – After 37 Years of Service

Today marks the end of an era at PerfMet Engineering.

Our Amada Vipros 367 Turret Punch, a machine that has been with us for 37 years, was officially decommissioned and lifted out for the final time. This machine has punched millions of holes, produced countless projects, and played a major part in building the reputation PerfMet has today.

For nearly four decades, it helped our team deliver precision metalwork across Perth — from architectural screens and louvres to commercial fabrication and large-scale infrastructure components. It has seen multiple factory moves, dozens of operators, and thousands of hours of production… and never stopped performing.

A huge thank you to Riverside Cranes and Metal West Recycling for handling today’s removal safely and professionally.

As we continue expanding our capabilities with newer, faster and more automated technology, it’s important to recognise the tools that helped get us here.
