Have been thinking about this shot for a while - Sugarloaf Rock under the MW. Was an almost perfect night, no Moon or Venus, but unfortunately quite a bit of fast moving unpredictable cloud around. I tried to work between cloud banks as they came through and deal with the residual clouds as best I could. I think the red glow to left of frame is light from Cape Naturaliste lighthouse.

Sky is 16 frames at ISO 3200 / f2.8 / 20” stacked in StarryLandscapeStacker. Foreground is single twilight image ISO 100 / f11 / 44” using 10 stop ND filter. Shot on Canon 1DX Mkii, 16-35L 2.8 iii @ 23mm.

Outback sunrise... the red dust of the Aussie Outback gives first sunlight an amazing warmth. A bit of patchy cloud on the horizon helped with the sun's painterly texture. Taken this morning at Ninghan Station, around 400km NE of Perth, what an awesome spot!
