We were thrilled to have Dr David Blacker, respected neurologist and author, drop into store to sign copies of his award-shortlisted book. My Fight with PD was, just this week, shortlisted for the WA Premier's Award and we were excited to put some shiny stickers on his book today.

In this candid and inspiring memoir, David chronicles the years following his diagnosis with Parkinson's disease. From reshaping his career to forging unlikely parnerships including with a former national boxing champion, his story reveals how adversity can lead to transformation.

Get on in store to get one of the limited signed copies available now!

It's that time again! Last night we met to discuss June's book club pick: Salt City Runaway by Gillian O'Shaughnessy.

For most people, it was their first exposure to flash fiction and we were excited to see the passion it inspired everyone. While some loved the stories and were able to connect to the characters, landscapes and moments in time in really meaningful ways, other found the need to put themselves and their thoughts and experiences into the stories to make meaning challenging and different.

This month we're excited to announce that we'll be reading Maggie O'Farrell's new novel, Land. Inspired by the mapping of Ireland in the mid nineteenth century, this is the new novel from the author of Hamnet, and is at once intimate and epic: a portrait of a family navigating a legacy of upheaval and loss with love and hope.

We hope to see you next month to discuss this spellbinding novel. Tickets for the first meet on Monday 3rd of August are now available to book in store or at boundlessbooks.com.au.

About Bailey Street

The cottage on Bailey Street has held onto its secrets for 150 years.

Then: John Boyle OReilly was a convict who believed he had nothing left to give. Jessie was the girl who proved him wrong.

Now: Rebecca only came to meet her biological father. But echoes of passion, heartache, and courage from the past awaken long-buried desires especially when it comes to a certain handsome history professor.

From Liverpool and Ireland to the sunburnt shores of Western Australia, love will find its way home
