Alone under the lights of the footy field the foreboding sky in the background, is she waiting for others, or have they left? Painted on what seems to be a remnant +of a swag or tent.

Hearts Coming Together, 2026

I have been finding our more about these lizards and their courtship. After digging a neighbouring burrow, the male initiates a gradual ritualisation that culminates in the pair sharing a single home.
