Colourblind is out!

This is my latest album, an 80s Synth Wave inspired collection of Christian originals. Some are remixes of released tracks, others are new.

I have spent around 2 years on this project, used a lot tools to bring this album to life (thats not my voice), however its 100% original and 100% human creativity.

Been working on this album for over 2 years ... releasing in April 2026!

So, my new album is out. I said I would give some context for the tracks, but let me start with the whole album.

Most songs are written in the structure of hymns, but arranged with a more contemporary feel. One of the key themes that I tried to maintain was a focus on God, not us. So even "I Am Not Too Broken For Your Love" is about His majesty + my failing still resulting in His love.

Lord You Came Down From Above is a rework of the Charles Wesley Hymn, "O Thou Who Camest from Above". We can thank Paul Quicke from Morley Baptist for commissioning this one! The lyrics are just so powerful and I kept a "minimal changes" approach to attempt to retain the power of those lyrics.

An overall aim for the arrangements was to make the hymn style more accessible to our modern ears. I am a songwriter at heart, so melody and sing-ability is important. I am also striving to write songs that can work just as well in different versions, as a solo performance or with a bigger band.

If you have the time, I would be thrilled if you could have 2 listens to the album. There is a lot of layers in it, some of which you may not pick up in the first listen. I always aim to bring rhythm and complexity into my tracks to keep them interesting, so I there is usually a hidden or obscure sound to be heard in the background.

Music aside ... most of all, I hope you can connect with God through these worship songs... They are written to shine a light on Him, not us.
