My favourite work day of the year is tomorrow! The RKCC Mineral Resources Regional Business Awards. A celebration of hard work and community spirit. It's easy to forget that RKCC is a not-for-profit association, and this event brings us the opportunity to showcase how we help businesses of all sizes and diversity transacting in the area. It would not be possible to do so without our sponsors, prize donations and the silent workers - our incredibly talented Executive Team - the volunteers that care to make a difference in our community. Many who volunteer across several charities, sporting clubs, foundations and associations of all types. As the night of nights draws near, I would like to say a personal note of appreciation to the nominees, good luck to the finalists, a massive thank you to our community and business champions for putting Rockingham and Kwinana first.

🌟✨ Just touched down from a whirlwind journey to Singapore & Dubai, where I celebrated an extraordinary friend's wedding! 🎉 Imagine being dazzled by Dubai's architectural marvels and standing atop the world, gazing from the Burj Khalifa. It’s like stepping into the future while being hugged by the past - a testament to what dedication and dreaming big can achieve. 🏙️✈️

This trip wasn't just a feast for the eyes; it sparked a moment of reflection on this year's adventures and achievements, and oh, it's been a glittering ride! Here’s the scoop:

- Fired up a Rocket Launcher Grant application to launch our MVP Marketing Strategy Tech into the stratosphere, aiming to boost startups and SMEs not just in Australia but maybe even beyond the stars! 🚀🌌
- Crafted a Perth Networking Club Incubator Program grant application to nurture a vibrant WA Startup Ecosystem, championing 20 incredible Women, Indigenous, Regional, LGBTIQA+, and People with Disabilities as the superheroes of innovation and entrepreneurship! 💪🌈
- And snagged a nomination for 2024's Volunteer of the Year! 🏆

The list goes on, but sometimes, amidst the hustle, I need to remind myself to pause and celebrate these milestones.

This year is all about basking in the glow of our achievements and sharing those victories loud and proud! 🎉📣
