I’m excited to catch up with these beautiful humans this week and finally meet the little girl that was tucked up safely in here. 💕
Looking forward to creating some more precious memories! ✨

This may be one of my favourite shoots. Full sun with pops of vibrant colour against a brilliant blue sky…I can’t wait for summer so I can explore more sessions like this!
The incredible was a total vibe as our model ✨

It’s been a while! I’ve been MIA for quite some time, and I wanted to share a little bit about why.
When my youngest started full-time school, it felt like a huge shift. I decided to take some time off to focus on myself and rediscover who I am when I’m not ‘mummy’. I’ll admit, the longer I was away, the harder it became to re-engage.
This weekend marks one year since I attended ’s first retreat for photographers and the memories popping up have reminded me how lucky I was to be part of something so special! 💖
The amazing women I met and the supportive community that Jess created have been a true gift. It was an experience that I will never forget✨
I’m still not quite back to where I want to be, but I’m working on it. I’m going to try and share some of the beautiful images that I took at the retreat over the next few weeks because if nothing else…they deserve to be out in the world x

When they say ‘We don’t really do pictures, is it ok if we just go for a walk in the bush in our gum boots?’
I say ‘YES, YES, YES!!’
Could not get enough of this beautiful family! Such a fun way to spend some time; even the rain didn’t stop them splashing around and laughing.

Oh hi!
It occurred to me recently that I’ve never actually shown my face here so I thought I would do a little bit of an introduction and divulge a few utterly random facts about me!
I’m originally from the UK and moved to Perth with my husband 12 years ago. We now have 2 sons and couldn’t imagine raising them anywhere else in the world even though it sure would be nice to have family a little closer.
Running my own business has always been a dream of mine but as I passed the age of 40 I wasn’t sure if it would ever become a reality. I left my job in construction to have my son in 2016 and could honestly never see myself going back to being stuck inside an office ever again. I’m lucky to have an amazing and supportive husband who encouraged me to follow my dreams and pursue photography. I’m still learning and growing slowly but I love that I get to indulge in something I’m passionate about and show my children that it’s never too late to change course and find where you’re meant to be.
Random things about me:
* I learned to drive in a race car with no windows or mirrors when I was 14 years old. This had the unfortunate knock on effect of me failing my road driving test 3 times! I still to this day like to leave people in my dust when the traffic lights turn green 😂
* I have a hidden talent for mimicking accents! Except Australian which continues to elude me even after 12 years 🐨
* I spent quite a bit of time working in the USA in my early 20’s. I was living in upstate New York working my first day as an au pair when the attack on the twin towers happened on 9/11.
* I’m an over-planner. I will research and plan and make lists and research some more to the point of total inertia. I’m the opposite of a ‘Just Do It’ personality which is probably why it took me so long to pick up my camera and shoot!
* Talking about myself is excruciating and I’m going to stop now 🤣
