Tonight, Team BTP is taking part in the Up All Night challenge, walking from dusk to dawn to help families with sick kids.

Up All Night is an overnight walk through the streets of Perth, where every step raises funds for Ronald McDonald House Charity and helps to provide a home-away-from-home and essential support for families with sick kids.

Blake Gibson, who is taking part in the walk for the first time, said: “I am walking for a close friend of mine whose daughter lives with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). They receive incredible support through Ronald McDonald House, and this is a meaningful way for me to give back and support the amazing work they do for so many families.”

For 2026, Up All Night walkers can choose between a 21km course or the full 42km marathon. All four Team BTP walkers have committed to the demanding 42km route, challenging themselves to go the distance in support of families who need it most.

All the best to Team BTP as they walk through the night!

BTP is proud to support hands-on training by donating industry-relevant components to Zeal Futures for their apprentice training programs in Rutherford. BTP donated a number of transmissions, torque convertors and differentials to give students the opportunity to get more practical experience.

The components will be used by students studying a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (AUR31220). This trade training program was introduced by Zeal Futures last June through a partnership with Glencore, providing specialised training opportunities for apprentices employed across the mining industry.

Pictured are Colin Kirkwood and Mark Ostermann from Glencore, Stephen Tritten from BTP and the students and team from Zeal Futures at the official handing-over of the BTP driveline components.

Access to genuine, industry-relevant components allows apprentices to move beyond theory and develop the practical skills that directly translate to the workplace.

BTP is proud to play a supporting role in developing future tradespeople and strengthening skills pathways in the Hunter Valley, helping ensure the region continues to support a highly specialised and evolving resources sector.
