HARDIE FERODO 500 - celebrating 50 years since Bathurst that would create the strongest rivalries in Australian Racing.

A recent commission completed for a client who has a extensive collection of Valiants. This artwork represents the Top 4 finishing cars in 1972 Hardie Ferodo 500 (Bathurst 1000)

It was the first year that the legend “The King of the Mountain” Peter Brock who drove for Holden Racing Team won his first race and would continue on to win over 9 times.

The client wanted to represent the other 3 cars that placed behind Peter Brock, coming in second, a Ford Falcon and in 3rd and 4th, a Valiant Pacer and a Valiant Charger.

3 meters by 4 meters, the canvas was completed with aerosol and some acrylic Paint markers.
