I'm thrilled to be facilitating the inaugural Slow Looking Club at Boola Bardip - WA Museum. Tickets are very affordable but limited spots. Note: this event is open to all artists: writers, photographers, graphic artists, dancers etc.

Slow Looking Club invites you to sit with a selection of Museum objects, observed gently and without hurry. During the session you will be guided by a host to explore details, textures, stories and questions that only emerge when you give yourself permission to pause.

Join us for Slow Looking Club's inaugural session on Saturday 13 June. In this session, we will be guided by writer Lisa Collyer as we look at one of the most iconic galleries of the WA Museum Boola Bardip, WA Treasures.

Let yourself be slowly guided through this gallery space allowing for meaningful engagement with just a few specially selected objects. This is an opportunity to slow down, look closely and engage deeply.

We encourage a multidisciplinary approach to these sessions, so please feel free to bring in notebooks, pens and other items if you would like to sketch, take notes, write or journal. *
