🇱🇰 Today we celebrated Sri Lankan Cultural Day at GRO Early Learning! Our children enjoyed exploring Sri Lanka through traditional food, culture, and meaningful learning experiences.

A heartfelt thank you to one of our wonderful mums for taking the time to come into our centre and share your culture with our children during NAIDOC Week.
Your kindness, knowledge, and generosity created a meaningful learning experience that helped our children connect with and appreciate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

🍓🍍🍊 Our Kindy children had a wonderful time creating their own fresh fruit popsicles! 🌈
Through this fun hands on experience, they explored healthy eating, practised fine motor skills, and enjoyed making a delicious treat to cool down.

We love open ended, sensory rich activities! Today, the children enjoyed feeling the soft textures of bright feathers and placing them onto our duck templates. Activities like this encourage color recognition, spatial awareness, and cognitive development through hands-on play.

We love embracing and celebrating the many cultures that make our community so special, helping our children grow with respect, understanding, and appreciation for diversity.
