There is a quiet power in collaboration.

The serene interiors of Klae Wellness in Newtown, conceived by Cooper and Blake Architecture, demanded a deliberate balance of elements. The vision required a space that felt deeply restorative, tactile, and grounded.

To achieve this, we layered the foundational surfaces with our premium natural Travertine. Its raw, organic texture offers a soft, monochromatic warmth underfoot, catching the light and anchoring the studio’s fluid design.

Working alongside the curators at GT&B allowed us to seamlessly merge material and vision, proving that the best spaces are realized when distinct design languages speak the same tongue.

It’s projects like these that remind us how beautifully our stone aligns with the right design vision.

We recently had the opportunity to attend the Modern Homes Forecast 2026, hosted by James Hardie, as part of our ongoing partnership.

The forecast brings together global trend research and local insights to highlight the key forces shaping Australian homes, with a strong focus on flexibility, sustainability, and long-term value.

This is driving demand for smarter layouts, adaptable spaces, and seamless indoor–outdoor integration. At the same time, rising costs are shifting priorities toward durability, efficiency, and materials that deliver lasting performance rather than short-term appeal.

Design direction is also moving toward warmer, more natural aesthetics, with textured materials and earthy palettes replacing colder, more clinical finishes. These shifts align strongly with RMS Traders’ core offering, particularly across limestone, travertine, and textured stone finishes suited to both interior and exterior applications.

We’re excited to continue building on our partnership with James Hardie and applying these insights to support smarter, more considered outcomes across upcoming projects.
