ConsiderAg is an initiative that was created in 2014 by a very ambitious university student. After many discussions, it was deciphered that there is a misconception in high school students as to what opportunities a career in Agriculture can provide. Women are definitely changing the face of agriculture but did you know that women make up 40% of Australian farmers. While 52.4% of students studying undergraduate agriculture within Australia were women in 2016.

Women – changing the face of farming About 40 per cent of Australians in agriculture are women with the numbers continuing to rise, especially studying at tertiary level.
