These 4 Melbourne tram classes were built in the same Dandenong factory over a period of 39 years. Due to the nature of Melbourne tram operations, it's very rare to get all classes stabled together at the one depot. The A, B2, Z3 and E class tram. B1 is missing as none of the class made it into preservation.

This is the Victoria Harbour tram terminus in Melbourne. The terminus in the docklands precinct terminates at the corner of Bourke St and Collins St. The terminus is surrounded by high rise residential buildings. In the background, you can see the Yarra River and Victoria Harbour

Here's a photo of the historic Essendon Tram Depot stabling sheds here in Melbourne. July 2026.
G 7001 visited Essendon Tram Depot for lunch and is seen sitting with it's predecessors - the B2 and Z3 tram. Essendon tram depot will be home to some of the G class tram fleet.
