I was your typical Metalli' Kid. I could never rely on a vocalist. So I figured that out too. Blending them together is not easy but through deliberate and intentional practice I'm becoming rath
er close to being ready to hit the stage. I'm on an upward trajectory. On a daily basis I have a strict routine of improvement. After a quick workout at 6am i set myself 30 mins of metronome timed guitar practice. My drive to work consists of vocalising technique practice as does my drive home. Once I'm home I practice again with metronome incorporating vocal ability then around 8pm I leave the house for an hours vocal practice using scales and extending range! Somewhere in the middle of all this I find time to write and record. Wow what a boring as***le! i have to admit it's not the most fun routine but it's the work I believe I must put in to continue to advance. If you have heard the songs uploaded on my reverberation profile I have written and recorded and mixed for the most part all of it myself. 2 of the songs a good friend of mine contributed to leads. The song Linchi has some beautiful guitar work! He's done a great job. Don't get me wrong here..... I'm defiantly NOT trying to brag. I just want to convey honestly what skills I have worked to possess. The song Siege has 9 layers of guitar!!!! some may think thats too much? they may be right but life is not lived unless you have tracked a 9 layer guitar song in my opinion. Are they perfect? Are they something to work with? Yes. The band I want to put together is entitled 'Copperhead'. Why? I don't know. It just came to me when I was a wee teenager and I like the way it sounds. I was almost bitten by a Copperhead when I was a kid. I was stupidly checking up on a bull-ant vs Jumping-Jack war a friend and I had started and I may or may not have stood on the bu**er! Instinctively I "Danced" my way out of being bitten!!! Why do I want to put a band together and play anyway? Again if you listen to the tracks in the link don't be a tight jean wearing, new age, soy, decafe, late drinking, modern man about it. Crank it in the car as loud as the stereo goes before the speakers s**t themselves!!!!! Because I love going to concerts. I saw Tool on the Laturalis tour and it changed my life. Because I want to create mosh pits and an outlet for people like myself who find it therapeutic. Thats a dish best served LOUD. IMO. Anyway......The tracks uploaded are a small handful of stuff I've been working on over the years. I'm not looking for people to replicate what I've done. I'm looking for you so you can contribute with your own style and technique without needing to be guided through your parts. So you can have your own unique creative aspect to existing material as I believe you aught to. I'm sure there will be more future songs unwritten than the current templates. Why I want you? Because like me you love your gear, keep it up to date and change your string/skins when required. You don't noodle about with someone else is trying to speak or tune. You're on time, you work hard and play hard. Because your life has been spiralling out of control then back in control and out of control again and every click of the mouse, scroll on facebook, morning dump and keyboard click clack has led to this very moment in time where you are reading this and you're thinking YES! This is me. You know my social media profile is crap and not up to date properly but you don't care because you can see that with hard work and deliberate practice we can grow together. And isn't that what life is all about? Hit me up don't be a wimp. Thank you for your time. You'll never get it back.
