As some of you know, photography isn't my full time job. I work out at the airport and it's pretty good because sometimes it gives me the opportunity to go and get pics like this.

Etihad Airlines with their 787 dreamliner arrived in the early morning light sitting on D9 at Melbourne airport.

Meet Julius, the Californian Fur seal. One of the attractions you get to meet for the "upclose seal encounter" at SeaWorld up on the gold coast.

Weighing in at a whopping 260kgs this fella is absolutely amazing to touch and is just as inquisitive about people as we were to him.

If you are up at Sea World l, do yourself a favour and do the seal encounter and tell Julius I said hi.

Somebody once said to me "Shoot for the moon,. At least then if you fall short you'll land amongst the stars".

Decided to shoot the moon instead.

Got myself a new lens which I'm still trying to get the hang of. This has been my first attempt at shooting the moon and I was okay with it. Still some things I need to work on but overall a heap of fun.
