| it’s been some time since I last drew with pens. When I first started posting to Instagram, I was sharing my fanart of content creators and celebrities, using fine liners and pen, before I moved away from fan-art and started making art that involved my culture and became what it is today.
Tried drawing my bias from Stray Kids, with pen, pretty happy with it thought working with pen feels a bit daunting because once you leave a stroke on the paper, it’s permanent there’s no erasing really. So I am learning to be deliberate with my movement and learning to work around any mistakes I might make.
Next thing I wanna re-learn is watercolour painting. I’ve been consuming so many watercolour painting videos lately so that’s my next goal 🥅

Reminder: 2026 I will NOT be taking on any commission work. I want to spend this year making art for myself, as doing commission work for the last few years are burned me out and started to make me HATE art - which I never want.

So this year and maybe the next, I’ll be focusing on having fun with my art and sharing that joy I get with others!

But no more working for others!
