Payday Super is now in effect. Is your business ready? If you employ staff, there's an important change you need to be aware of.

From 1 July 2026, Australian employers are generally required to ensure super contributions are paid to employees' super funds within seven business days of each payday, replacing the previous quarterly payment cycle.

While it might sound like a simple change, it can have a real impact on payroll processes, cash flow and compliance. There are also increased penalties for employers who don't meet their obligations.
