Garling Studio

When Albert Edward Hawkshaw Garling retired, the local paper wrote a tribute to this amazing intuitive, listing the roles he took on across his time working in the country NSW town of Tooraweena which included storekeeper, post master, stock and station agent, agriculture machinery expert, photographer, income tax assessor, barber and ladies hairdresser, mechanic, undertaker, dentist, veterinarian and medicine man – setting fractures, stitching serious wounds, while building up a good reputation in diagnosis.
A lot of this work was volunteered out of compassion rather than profit.
My great, great grandfather was this fellow's dad – I think that's how it works!

Proofed the maggies today, not much more needs to be done but I may etch in a background before I edition it, who knows...
