The band went on to make undeniable waves on the Australian touring circuit, landing supports with local frontrunners Windwaker, Stepson, and Belle Haven, plus sharing the stage with UK’s Casey. Following the departure of founding lead vocalist Brianna Marsh, the group added new front-woman Amariah Cook to the lineup. Born in Melbourne and raised in Barcelona, Amariah’s debut performances turned heads, headlined by her charismatic personality, endless energy, spontaneous stagecraft, and incredible proficiency in both in harsh and clean vocals, which have an unexplainable timeless quality to them. The striking music video for ‘Waves’ hit over 115k YouTube views. The band’s debut festival performance at Knight & Day Festival had ‘What We Did On The Weekend’ declaring they were “the highlight of the festival…they were made for the big festival stage”. Future Static further cemented their status with a show-stopping performance at Unify Forever Festival, following winning the much coveted Triple J Unearthed Unify slot. The group then carried out an extensive national touring regime, including sharing the stage with RedHook, Caligula’s Horse, Pridelands, Bloom, and Stories.
