Day 1 Recap - What a race to kick off the weekend at Hidden Valley Raceway!
After a wet start to the day yesterday, Cody Brewczynski and the #22 Custom Lithium Mustang showed strong pace from the outset. Cody finished Practice in P4 before qualifying P10 overall and first among the rookies.
Starting Race 1 from P10, the rain returned just before the race began. An issue with the starting lights saw an early Safety Car, and after some contact in the opening stages Cody slipped back to P11.
As the race unfolded, Cody settled into a strong rhythm and was showing consistent pace around the P10 position. In the closing laps, he capitalised on an intense four-way battle for 6th position ahead, putting himself in a perfect position to move into 7th and challenge for even more. Unfortunately, contact from behind sent the #22 Mustang into a spin, dropping him back to P15 at the chequered flag.
While yesterday's result doesn't reflect the speed shown, Cody continues to impress in his rookie season and was right in the thick of the action all race long. Plenty of positives to take from an exciting opening race, and we're looking forward to coming back stronger for the rest of the weekend.

This weekend, Ashley Jarvis is back behind the wheel for the annual HQ & Gemini One Hour Endurance Race at Queensland Raceway.
The event holds plenty of memories for Ashley, having contested his very first one-hour race here back in 2005 alongside good mate Nick Rangeley. Remarkably, Ashley has competed in the event every year since, making it one of the longest-running traditions of his racing career.
More than 20 years later, Ashley and Nick are back together, reliving old memories and creating a few new ones.
The weekend got off to the perfect start tonight, with Ashley qualifying on pole position in his driver's race.
Tomorrow promises a full day of action, with both Ashley and Nick competing in their respective driver races before teaming up once again for the feature One Hour Endurance Race in the afternoon.

Excited to see our #32 Mustang driver, Ben Gomersall, step up and make his Supercars debut this year with Tickford Racing's Wildcard program. A fantastic opportunity for a talented driver, and one we're proud to see him earn. We'll be cheering him on every step of the way.
Congratulations to TA2 driver Ben Gomersall, who will make his Supercars main game debut in August, in the Tickford Racing Wildcard Program. We wish Ben all the best! ๐

Round 2 of the TA2 Racing Australia Series at Queensland Raceway is done and dusted.
Weโve been a little slow to post from the weekend as weโve been enjoying some much needed family time after a massive few days at the track. But this result definitely deserves to be written about, because we couldnโt be prouder of what this team achieved.
The combination of Ben Gomersall and Will Davison delivered another sensational drive in the second Enduro for the #32 UNIT Racing Mustang.
After strong individual races on Sunday, the boys lined up P4 for the feature Enduro race. In an action-packed race with a fast and clean pit stop from the crew, the #32 fought hard all afternoon to bring home P3 in the race and an incredible P3 overall for the weekend.
This result now sees Ben sitting 4th overall in the TA2 Championship heading into the next round, a fantastic turnaround after the engine troubles that impacted Round 1 earlier in the season.
Another great result from the weekend came with the #76 Perth Forklifts Camaro of Clint Rayner and Dion Jarvis. Starting from P15 after solid individual race results, the pair both put together strong stints in the Enduro and at one stage were knocking on the door of the top 10 in a stacked field of talent.
Bringing the car home in P13 for the second Enduro was a commendable effort considering the calibre of drivers competing across the weekend. The team also achieved an outstanding 2nd overall in the Masters class for the weekend, another result the whole crew can be incredibly proud of.
To come away with trophies from a weekend like that, against a field packed with big names, is a huge result for our team. Weโre extremely proud of our drivers, the cars, and every single person involved behind the scenes who made it happen.
A huge thank you to the entire team for all of their hard work throughout the weekend, along with all of our supporters, partners and everyone cheering us on trackside and online. Bring on the next one ๐๐

WOWโฆ what a race! TA2 Racing Australia knows how to put on a show!
The combo of Ben Gomersall & Will Davison delivers a sensational P2 podium for the #32 UNIT Racing Mustangโcharging from P5 to P2 in a stacked field. Ben made a sensational start to launch into P2 before the pit stops, setting the tone early, followed up by a strong stint from Will to bring it home. An incredible drive and a massive team effort to get the car back out there after the driveshaft failure in Race 2. That one means a lot, and is a credit to the whole team.
The #76 Perth Forklifts Camaro, driven by Clint Rayner & Dion Jarvis, also put in a strong showing. Starting P17, Clint handled the opening stint before handing over to Dion, who brought it home strong. The team climbed as high as P12 heading into the pit stop, finishing the Enduro in P14โa great result and valuable points on the board.
We roll into tomorrow with momentum

๐จ Enduro Update ๐จ
Quick update before the first Enduro kicks off in under 20 minutes at 4:00pm.
Tough break in Race 2 for Will Davison, with a driveshaft issue forcing a DNF. Huge effort from the team to turn the car around in time. #32 UNIT Racing Mustang will still line up P5 for the Enduro. With the pace weโve shown, expect an exciting charge from the front ๐
On the #76 Perth Forklifts Camaro side, Dion Jarvis brought it home with a solid P17 in Race 2, putting Rayner/Jarvis on the grid in P17 for the Enduro.
All set for a big 40-minute raceโtune in LIVE on SBS or Kayo and catch all the action! ๐๐ฅ
