Our Better Than Ready x True Icon gelding has now completed his second preparation, and we’re thrilled with the progress he’s made.

From the moment we purchased him at , we believed he had all the ingredients to develop into a lovely racehorse. Since then, he’s continued to justify that belief, taking every stage of his education in his stride and growing in both confidence and maturity with each campaign.

Now, after another successful preparation, he’s enjoying a well-earned spell before returning to continue building towards the exciting milestones ahead.

It’s a privilege to watch these young horses develop from yearlings into racehorses, and we can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for this exciting gelding.

An Origin omen? 👀🏆

is on the board early this week, with part-owned Show’em Who’s King breaking through for a well-deserved maiden win at the Gold Coast! 💪🏇

After four ultra-consistent runs to start his career, the tough gelding showed plenty of heart, digging deep under a brilliant ride from to hold off his challengers and get the job done.

Now the big question… is this a sign of things to come for Queensland on Wednesday night? 😉🏉

Congratulations to Billy and all of Show’em Who’s King’s connections on a fantastic maiden victory. Here’s hoping the winning streak continues! 🍻

June delivered three winners for the stable, highlighted by a fantastic stable double with Scud and Hey Daisy, along with Winchman returning to the winners’ stall.

The team finished the month with an 18% winning strike rate and a 53% place strike rate, a great reflection of the hard work happening behind the scenes from everyone involved.

A big thank you to our staff, riders, and all of our owners and connections for being part of the journey.

One of the unique advantages of our Gold Coast base is our proximity to the beach - just five minutes from the barn.

Incorporating beach work into our training program allows us to build strength through natural resistance in the water, support recovery, and keep our horses mentally engaged through variety in their routine.
