🎶Day 2 of Rhapsody Rotorua was one to remember!🎶

Today was filled with inspiring performances, workshops and unforgettable experiences both on and off the stage.

A major highlight of the day was our first public performance, a 1pm matinee, where students from all participating schools showcased their incredible musical talents to an audience of more than 200 members of the Rotorua community. It was a fantastic afternoon of music and a wonderful opportunity for students to share their passion with a local audience.

Here’s a snapshot of what our schools got up to today:
🌋 Albany Creek State High School explored the incredible landscapes of Wai-O-Tapu Geothermal Reserve.
🎵 Aquinas College performed for students at Malfroy School.
🚠 Ormiston College took in the views from the Skyline Rotorua Gondola before enjoying the thrilling luge ride.
⚡Nambour Christian College had an adrenaline-filled morning at Velocity Valley.
🎶 John Forrest Secondary College shared the joy of music with students at Westbrook School.
🎸 took part in three adjudications and workshops with their Rock Band, Strings and Jazz Band ensembles.

To finish an incredible day, all students came together at Te Puia - Rotorua, NZ to enjoy a traditional hāngī feast and an unforgettable Māori cultural performance, a truly special way to celebrate the connections, culture and experiences that make Rhapsody Rotorua so unique.

Opening weekend at Mt Hotham! ❄️ 🎉

Snow-covered slopes, blue skies and a mountain ready for adventure. 🏔️

After months of planning and preparation, it's exciting to see the snow season officially underway. We can't wait to welcome students to the slopes and help create another season of unforgettable experiences.

The countdown is on, with Pene set to welcome our first group to Mt Hotham this coming weekend! 🏂⛷️☃️
