Monsoonal squalls in Darwin
10/01/2015
Impressive line of Monsoonal storms spreading along the north coast. Widespread 20-50mm falls with isolated falls near 100mm near the north and west coasts. Easing slightly tomorrow but storms will be returning inland this week.
The Monsoonal trough is retrograding north and the showers and squally storms continue to move north with it. Further heavy showers likely overnight. Showers to increase tomorrow night with storms redeveloping over the inland tomorrow afternoon. Watch for a tropical low developing over the NT next week inside and near the inland trough. Fun time ahead

This huge bolt was captured from my balcony in Stuart Park last night.
Great to finally see some massive bolts and a decent downpour! Some very close bolts from my vantage point at East Arm earlier! Bit of a strange set up today, wasn't too sure where to chase!
