That's because as the cloud collapses due to gravity, its potential energy transforms into kinetic (heat) energy, raising the cloud's temperature.This leads to the formation of a protostar, a hot, dense center that keeps getting bigger as more material (dust and gas) falls onto it. Once the center hits around 10 million degrees, hydrogen atoms start merging to form helium, which releases a massive amount of energy.This energy generates an outward pressure that counteracts gravity's inward pull, a balance called hydrostatic equilibrium.At this stage, a steady main sequence star is born, radiating light for millions or even billions of years, much like our own Sun 🌞✨
