Sometimes the beautiful detail in vintage doors, in combination with quality materials and craftsmanship is hard to pass up and can be given a contemporary look with new handles and/or paint.

Sprigg Road
The first day Rob saw his house was the day he moved in, and he was amazed at how well the LOOP team had translated his brief into his dream home.
It was clear Rob liked all things natural and organic, a guy living in Melbourne with a pragmatic approach to living and a dislike for slick, minimal finishes.

Sustainability
We will ask: What makes this environment special?
Our buildings integrate with the natural environment and maximise its attributes: utilising natural light, ventilation, and seasonal heating.

Thinking ahead!
The 70m2 studio was strategically pulled back tight to the rear boundary to make space for a planned future house.
Angular side boundary lines were mirrored with angular walls, to ensure that in the future a secondary building would connect with the first. The form of the studio intentionally followed this function.

LOOP HOUSE
Making more with less. Despite being a 125m2 footprint house on a compact 400m2 block, this 3×2 build feels generous.
We engaged at the start of the design process, to position the dynamic between house and landscape as central.
