The Chelsea Concert Band is a community band, consisiting of approximately 25 players of all ages and grades who play a wide range of instruments and music from popular to traditional styles. The band is non-competitive, and performs throughout the year at concerts, fetes, retirement villages, promotions etc, and welcomes enquiries for performances. The band rehearses most Monday evenings at the Chelsea RSL Hall from 19:15 till 21:30.
Last Monday’s rehearsal got a bit groovy. Probably because we decided to play Soul Bossa Nova. You may know it as the Austin Powers theme.
