In April 2010, Assidian changed names from Assidian Records, which was officially founded in Feb 2007 from its previous hobby status from mid 2006 in Canberra, Australia. www.assidianrecords.com previously provided support to local metal and aimed at moving Australian bands merch around the country and also led to providing high qaulity shows and promotion.

In 2010 Assidian returns under new name and business structure.

EVENTS:


- First organisation to incorporate Burlesque performances at live metal event's between bands with the music choreographed to heavy metal in the WORLD on the 16th December 2010, Harbingers of Storm with performer Seker Pare.
- Main organiser of the group charity event "RSPCA QLD Flood Appeal" which raised $1700 for the rebuild of infrastructure due to flood damage to RSPCA Brisbane in 2010 with just over 1 week of promotions.
