The SWIS society was established in mid 2015 to promote gender equality in science and provide a support system for postgraduate female researchers in the STEM pipeline. Our mission is to celebrate and support women in science. We are currently based at La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. We plan to focus our efforts on:

Supporting Women in Science has a range of projects and aims to we wish to establish in the coming year and more.
