The 24 hour A1 teams are off at the Kaikoura Adventure Race.
After heading down the beach for a quick run, the jump on their bikes, then a trek, followed by at daybreak a packraft.
This is race 3 of the series with teams competing for ranking points. Series winner receives free entry to the World Cup Final, Malaysia Quest expedition in April 2027.

Race 3 of the series, Kaikoura Adventure Race, has got to be the biggest mixed gender Adventure race in the world. Over 800 athletes, half being juniors still at school, will line up at the event. Huge congratulations to race director Tim Farrant and his team. You will be able to follow the race live on Saturday.
