As we head back to the office for 2026, we attack the dreaded inbox backlog. Remember these few simple rules to help protect against scams

✅ Don’t click links
✅ Verify the senders email address
✅ Be wary of emails containing urgency eg. ‘Your account is about to expire’
✅If a PDF attachment is blurry and asks you to click a link for better quality, this is likely a scam, even if it’s from a trusted source
✅ Any emails requesting money, gift cards or iTunes cards are a scam

Remember, we all make mistakes. If you do accidentally click something, or enter your password into a suspected scam website, call us straight away so we can help.

Stay Safe!

We have had quite a few reports of EOFY Phishing scams coming through in the last few days. Be careful when opening emails, verify the sender and avoid clicking on any links.

If you do find a scam email in your inbox, here is what you should do.

DO delete the email
DO report the email as spam if you use enterprise spam software
AVOID forwarding the email around the office to warn colleagues
AVOID clicking on links or opening attachments

If you do accidentally click something, don't be embarrassed, we all make a mistake. Inform your manager or IT department immediately to verify no action is required.
