Wellness Week was a BLAST 💥 (but like, in a really relaxing and soothing way)

As the assessment due-dates start rolling in, things can get a little stressful, but we got u 🤝

Whether it was cuddling therapy dogs (or a wombat), meditating, singing your heart out at karaoke, adding to our self love club wall and community canvas, or enjoying some free food, groceries, and coffees, we hope you found the time to unwind, practice some self care, and have plenty of fun in the process!!

Meet Kade Charlesworth, JMC Bachelor of Music (Songwriting) alumni, 2025 Cassette Awards finalist, and the creative force behind Twilight, their recent debut album ✨

Kade started out singing at open mics in Sydney's q***r nightlife scene, an experience that shaped Twilight from the ground up. The album explores growing out of adolescence and finding community on the dance floor, with Kade describing their q***rness as something that's woven into every part of their sound 🎧

When it comes to what they hope listeners take away from their work, Kade says they want to inspire people to be themselves. “I hope people who hear my music are inspired to create their own art, go dancing, and make a mess," they told us 🪩
